Bluegrass First Class

We just got back from BGFC; the traditional N.C. festival season kick-off for the last seventeen years. Spring is gonna get here. It was all music and food and fellowship. Best of all was our new grand-baby; all smiles and chuckles. Great stuff.

It was more activity than I am used to these days, so I’m gonna rest for a few days, but I’ll be back in touch. thank goodness for the bluegrass community. It is one big extended family. The prayers, music, and well wishes did my heart a lot of good.

So glad. Love, laughter and fun are the best medicines of all – sounds like you had plenty of all! Now rest & recharge.

  3. Love that picture, Tom. I’ve been editing my WIP for my agent so haven’t been by to visit for a while. Coming to your blog is like visiting a good friend. Love your posts.

  4. Dr. Tom . . . I have read your book “The Mandolin Case”. A mutual friend of ours gave me a copy . . . Rick Dancy. Rick and I have been friends from the 80’s. Love the book and I would love to have some of those strawberrys out of that moonshine . . . then I could tell my wife that I was eating healthy ! Ha? I have you on our pray list at my church and we do know that God does heal. Keep working with those children.
    God Bless

    • Jimmy,

God bless you for your kind note. Yeah Rick is a good’un.

I think Indie would say those strawberries were one of the four food groups, but the responsible citizen in me says, uh… well… oh well, you couldn’t help but love ole Indie.

I sure appreciate the prayers and they are working. Catch up with me out on the bluegrass road to shake and howdy. I try to get to all of the Darin and Brooke Aldridge shows that I can.
