A new Sponsor: Weber Mandolins
Weber Mandolin is now the official mandolin of the Tommy Bibey and Mandolin Case Tour. already owned three Of Bruce Weber’s lovely creations. recently one of his dealers, John Reid at Shelby Music Center in the home of Earl Scruggs acquired a WEBER mandola at an artist discount for me. (Harvey County didn’t have dealer that big)
Right away I assigned co-ownership of the mandola to Darin Aldridge. My illness is gonna keep me off the road two months and I wanted him to be able to take it out there and show it off. It is way too much instrument to just sit at the house, and Bruce Weber deserves the exposure for his fine craftmanship and quality. website: www.soundtoearth.com
Please Thank Weber, Shelby Music, and Darin for their belief in me. Like my wife no one seems to think my song is “Long Gone” yet.

I would love to own a Weber. They are a beautiful instrument, but since I dropped $1800 on the one I play, hubby might get a little upset if I buy another. However, I would like to have one….heeheehee…we do have a backdoor. Hope you are doing well Doc. Again, I can’t say enough about your book. I really enjoyed it. I have the bumper sticker on my “Mandolin Case”. 🙂

Libby, If you run into me out of the road strike a lick on mine. I have a couple close to home short gigs during treatment but plan on my first full outing at Tom Johnson Campground August 18-20 (I Think that is the date) I’m glad the book was a fun read. Dr. B

Hey there Doc…………….Reading about your new Weber makes me want to learn how to play………that would be a great project for me to begin this summer. Reckon I could handle that?

Julie,
No doubt. There is a nice Weber down at Shelby Music Center right now. They invited me to their Saturday jam session at 2:30 tomorrow, and I have permission from the docs to go for one hour. Come visit. Then I’ll be at Bethel Curch for aone hour session Sat night at 6:00 for their mission fund raiser. After that I have to go rest; doc orders.

Jel,
Hard to beat that good blackberry jam. Somehow gonna get well enough to take our cross country tour but will have to put it off one summer. Got no give up in me, though. A Hell’s Angel signed up to motorcycle escort us for fear I wouldn’t be strong enough to protect us. Lots of good friends in all kinda places. B
